As a student organisation, you play an important role in making students feel at home. It is therefore good to be aware of things within your organization that may unintentionally exclude certain students or make them feel unwelcome, and what you can do to remove these barriers.
Tips
- Training offer for students (UU): workshops and trainings on D&I for your members or board
- Diversity networks (UU): a safe environment where participants can exchange experiences and make a common voice heard
- Interpreter contact: information on interpreter mediation, remote interpreter, NGT translation
- Videos for (international) students who are not yet familiar with student organisations
- Funds:
- First Generation Fund (UU): supporting (prospective) students who are the first in their family to study at Utrecht University.
- D&I Stimulation Fund (UU): for projects and activities that promote diversity and inclusion among students and staff
- Accessibility Fund Municipality of Utrecht: subsidy for measures so that residents with disabilities can participate in society
