Target group: student board members / confidential advisor / committee members that are concerned with social security of study or student organisations of UU
You are responsible for creating a socially safe and inclusive environment in your role as student board member and/or confidential advisor. Perhaps someone will report something with you and you question what to do next. What is your responsibility when something is reported and what is not? Where can you ask for additional support?
It is also possible that you are a witness to unwanted behaviours yourself and that you wonder how and when you should respond to this. This is a big responsibility and requires careful consideration from all parties involved. This is why the UU provides this training.
Learn to confidently deal with unwanted behaviours during a time when social challenges and wrongdoings are constantly covered in the news. It is now more important than ever to continue talking about unwanted behaviours. What exactly are unwanted behaviours and how can we handle them effectively?
In this three-hour training you will learn to recognize unwanted behaviours, you will practice intervention techniques and you will discuss you case study that you bring yourself. Furthermore we will inform you how UU can support you with this.
